Notice of changes to The Don and Standard Memberships (May 2015)
48 wishes to notify its customers of some changes to The Don and Standard Memberships that will come into effect from the 10th June 2015.
From 10th June The Don membership will see the following changes:
- Data cap will be increased from 5GB to 8GB
- The mobile voice allowance will change from unlimited and will be capped at 1,000 minutes
From 10th June the Standard Membership (€10 plan available for existing customers only) will see the unlimited mobile voice allowance reduce to 300 minutes.
Customers who have purchased The Don and Standard Memberships before the 10th June and those who have made pre-purchases will be able to use their membership as per the terms of the membership which was applicable at that time.
Under Regulation 14 of the European Communities (electronic communications networks and services)(Universal Service and Users' rights) Regulations 2011 an operator shall not give less than one month prior to the date of implementation of any proposed modification, notify its subscribers to that service of the proposed modification in the conditions of the contract for that service, and their right to withdraw without penalty from such contract if they do not accept the modification. If these changes don't suit your lifestyle, you don't have to accept them and you can leave 48 without penalty at any stage before we make these changes happen.

Notice of changes to The Mitch and TU Me Add-on (August 2013)
48 wishes to notify its customers of some changes to The Mitch Price Plan and TU Me add-on that will come into effect from the 5th September 2013 (‘Implementation Date’).
The guys who created the app are shutting it down in a month’s time, on the 5th of September. Unfortunately this means you’ll no longer be able to use it.
And, from the 6th of August we have to remove it from the 48 website, so it won’t appear as an add-on anymore or as part of The Mitch Price Plan.
Customers who have purchased the add-on or The Mitch before the 6th August will be able to use their TU Me allowance until their plan or add-on expires or until the 5th September, whichever should occur first.
